Nice, capital of the Côte d’Azur is now the 5th largest city in France. Born on the Castle Hill and around the port, occupied by the Romans in the district of Cimiez, the city then belongs to the County of Savoy until 1860, when it is attached to France. Its history merges with that of the development of tourism, an activity that has led to its dazzling development.
