DAY 1 : Historical Nantes.
Welcome at the airport and transfer to the city centre. Visit of the castle of the Dukes of Brittany, where Anne de Bretagne was born, the only Queen of France who was Queen twice. Here Francis I adopted in August 1532 the decree of the union of the Principality of Brittany with the Kingdom of France. In the cathedral we will admire the magnificent central nave but also the tombs of Francis II and Margaret of Foix. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 2 : The "Ile de Nantes" or the crazy creativity of the green city of Nantes
Today we discover the Ile de Nantes, the former industrial estate, which has meanwhile become a living cultural centre. It is a must to admire the “machines” housed in a former wharf hall: the “Machines de l’île”. In these huge peculiar halls, the idea was born to connect the fantastic world of Jules Verne, born here in Nantes, with the inventions of Leonardo da Vinci. The highlight of the visit is the famous 12m high elephant, whose colossal silhouette strolls leisurely along the shore. Also exceptional is another cultural symbol of the city, the famous Passage Pommeraye on the way to the Place Royale, where we stroll past the windows of rue Crébillon…..
