Since 2013, the impetus given by the choice of Marseille as European Capital of Culture has been confirmed. The neighbouring city of Aix-en-Provence, rival and complementary, birthplace of Paul Cezanne, has also enriched its cultural offer with the renovation of the hotel de Caumont, which hosts high quality exhibitions.
All of this coupled with the tourist attractions of an incomparable destination, Provence: cultural excellence in a region of sunshine, where the sea, gastronomy and lifestyle are the promise of an exceptional stay.
In 2022 the hotel de Caumont is offering a superb exhibition of Raoul Dufy, while Marseille has created a replica of the Cosquer cave, the original of which, immersed in the Calanques, contains 500 works of cave art. Finally, the “Carrieres des Lumières” at Les Baux-de-Provence presents “Venice, La Serenissima” and “Yves Klein: infinite blue”.
